Endeavor Air Debuts

Delta air Lines' regional subsidiary Pinnacle Airlines has been renamed Endeavor Air and started operating under the new title on August 1. The carrier became a wholly-owned subsidiary in April, following its emergence from Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. "We chose Endeavor Air because it evokes an image of innovation, excitement and the adventure of a journey," said CEO Ryan Gumm. "The name captures not only the extraordinary efforts we have made already, but also those that are still ahead."
