British airways (BA) is to acquire two more Boeing 777-300ERs, increasing its fleet to eight. The aircraft, which will be delivered in May and July 2014, will be supplied by Los Angeles-based lessor Air Lease Corporation (ALC) under a ten-year agreement. Though ALC has not yet confirmed how the widebody jets will be configured, it is expected they will feature the carrier's latest WorldTraveller and World Traveller Plus products, as well as a Thales Audio Video On-Demand system.
