The forward, centre and aft fuselage sections of the new Gulfstream G250 have been joined by means of an advanced assembly process, aimed at reducing the time needed to complete the fuselage. The company plans to certify the aircraft and begin deliveries in 2011. First flight is scheduled for the second half of this year. Production and initial flight testing will be undertaken at Israel Aerospace Industries' (IAI) headquarters near Ben Gurion International Airport just outside Tel Aviv, Israel. Completion will follow at Dallas, Texas. (Photo Gulfstream)
