PACIFIC ISLAND carrier Air Kiribati has welcomed the first Embraer E190-E2. The jet, VH-IKJ (c 19020029) is the first of an order for two announced in December 2018, with the option to purchase a further pair. The aircraft is configured in a two-class layout, seating 92 passengers - 80 in economy and 12 in business. Air Kiribati is the launch operator for the E190-E2 in the Asia-Pacific region.
