Bahamasair Signs Maintenance Agreement

Bahamasair has become the latest airline to select ATR's Global Maintenance Agreement (GMA) contract. Under the terms of the deal, the Franco-Italian manufacturer will provide standard exchanges, line replacement unit and propeller repairs for the carrier's fleet of three ATR 42-600s and two ATR 72-600s. Bahamasair becomes the fourth Caribbean carrier to opt for the GMA and this, the European firm reported, reflects the "quality and comprehensiveness" of its maintenance services in the region.
