Kuehne + Nagel has launched 'KN EngineChain', which it says is an end-to-end supply chain solution designed for aircraft engine logistics. KN EngineChain is designed to ensure reliable and safe transportation and storage of engines by both certified processes and certified staff and features a global infrastructure with regional dedicated competence centres, comprehensive special training programmes and engine logistics processes. All processes, interfaces and responsibilities are certified according to transparent standards integrated in Kuehne + Nagel's QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, Environment) guidelines with standard operating procedures and working instructions.
