Cost effectiveness: The price of the air traffic services provided by the future ATM system should be cost effective with respect to the individual needs of the relevant airspace user. Efficiency: Operational and economic cost effectiveness of flight operations from a single flight's perspective will be central to achieving the environmental performance targets that will be placed upon ATM systems in the future.
