France's DSNA orders ADS-B ground stations

French air navigation service provider, DSNA, has awarded Thales a contract to deliver up to 10 ADS-B ground stations, along with supporting remote control and monitoring systems and training services. During the contract's first phase, three ADS-B ground stations will be installed on Ile de La Reunion in the Indian Ocean that will be used for surveillance purposes in what is non-radar airspace.
