Runway debris detection study conducted by FAA

QinetiQ, the international military technology company, announced this autumn that its 24-hour runway debris detection system known as Tarsier was being tested and evaluated at TF Green Airport in Rhode Island on behalf of the US Federal Aviation Administration by the University of Illinois Centre of Excellence in Airport Technology (CEAT) under the direction of professor Edwin Herricks.
