摘要

This paper presents the design and evaluation of a low-cost particulate monitor, the Samplemaster 7000, designed for user-defined conditional sequential sampling. The sampler is a portable unit which can be quickly and easily assembled, and is easy to operate. It was field tested initially using sequential sampling for 24 hours from midnight to midnight and showed good correlations with standards measures. It was then set up for conditional sampling based on wind speed anidirection, with excellent results.
