OMB Releases Draft 2005 Report on Costs and Benefits of Federal Regulations

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is required to prepare an annual report to Congress on the costs and benefits of federal regulations. The report must include recommendations on how to reform regulations. The report also is required to present an analysis of the impacts of federal regulations on state, local, and tribal governments, small businesses, wages, and economic growth.
