OMB Reports Costs and Benefits of Federal Regulations

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is required to prepare an annual report to Congress on the costs and benefits of federal regulations. The report is required to present an analysis of the impacts of federal regulations on state, local, and tribal governments; small businesses; wages; and economic growth. The report must also include recommendations for regulatory reform.
