Royal Jordanian Seeking a Partner

One of the Middle East's longest-established carriers, Royal Jordanian Airlines, is seeking a partnership with another airline as it battles fierce competition and rising costs. Hussein Dabbas, the chief executive of the Jordanian flag carrier, was quoted by Bloomberg as saying: "We are looking and reviewing options and talking to airlines to see when the time is right for us to do something". Dabbas said that continuing to operate as an independent carrier would be "difficult".
