And smartly-uniformed flight crews shepherd their trolleys though the corridors of the 500-room, four-star Headlands Hotel, where staff stay between flights. While on the face of it all appears calm in Cathay City, the airline has undergone a challenging 12 months. Cathay Pacific, like other global airlines, is facing increasing jet fuel prices.
