1. Design of a novel SEl-forming electrolyte additive with synergistic functionality: O-carboxyanhydrkie (lacOCA) 1.1 Combination of two functional moieties within lacOCA: Ladide (LAC) and diethyl dicarbonate (DEDC) 1.2 Improvement of electrochemical performance via addition of lacOCA due to effective SEI formation comprising poly(lactic)acid (PLA) and Li_2CO_3 accompanied with less active Li consumption 1.3 Improved cycling performance and reduced gas formation (inhibited EC reduction) could be proven in "practical" pouch cells.
