An-70 Series Production Edges Forward, but Doubts Remains

At the Antonov manufacturing facility in Kiev in Ukraine on December 21, 2012, the fuselage of the first series production An-70 transport (c 01-04) was ceremoniously inducted into the final assembly hall. On the same day Dmytro Kiva, the head of Antonov, also reported that the transfer of technical documentation on the aircraft to the Kazan plant in Russia had begun.
