Su-25SMs to be Upgraded

Russian Air Force Sukhoi Su-25SM Frogfoot attack aircraft will be upgraded as they become due for depot-level maintenance, starting in 2015. The package will include improvements to its weapons control system enabling the jet to engage four separate targets with guided weapons in a single pass, improved electronic warfare equipment and a data link. Four newly-upgraded Su-25SMs were due to be delivered to the Russian air base at Kant in Kyrgyzstan by the end of May.
