Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, commonly known as Sea-Tac, lies between the neighbouring cities of Seattle and Tacoma in the beautiful State of Washington, northwest USA. The region attracts more tourists than business traffic, which is somewhat surprising considering that Seattle, nicknamed the coffee capital of America, is home to such commercial giants as Boeing, Microsoft and, of course, Starbucks. The casual visitor to Seattle may also be surprised to learn that tourist traffic predominates at Sea-Tac, even though its location, on the edge of Puget Sound, some 113 miles (182km) from the Canadian border, has a well-deserved reputation for poor weather!
