Serbia's elite security forces were out on the ranges in mid-April fine-tuning their live-firing skills. Exercise Response 2021 involved troops and aviation assets going into battle at two separate locations in the largest exercise to be held in the republic this year.Approximately 1,200 Serbian Armed Forces and 300 Ministry of Interior (MUP) personnel were involved. The activities comprised a unique blend of 'real deal'larger-scale drills, with demonstrations to high-ranking officials in attendance and the general public via a live broadcast The Serbian Air Force's Odqovor 2021 formed part of the exercise manoeuvres that involved several Serbian Air Force (RViPVO) flying units.Unfortunately the Chinese CH-92A UCAV - delivered to Serbia last year - was not present because of the inclement weather.Tasked with providing battlefield surveillance, the original exercise plan was for the drone to target an 'enemy vehicle'- presumably with an FT-8C laser-guided missile, that had previously been test fired at Nikinci range in November.
