Hawk Evolution

Although at first glance the BAE Systems Hawk Advanced JetTrainer (AJT) appears to retain many of the features of the HS P1182 Hawk, which first flew more than 30 years ago, their only commonalities are the cockpit canopy and airbrake. As the latest member of the Hawk family, the AJT is designed to meet the demands of air forces, which need pilots capable of flying some of the most advanced combat aircraft in the world. It benefits from the experience gained with more than 900 Hawks in service, sold, or on order, by 19 countries across the world.
