STATISTICS RELEASED by the General Aviation Manufacturers Association on November 18 underline the decline in new aircraft deliveries resulting from the global COVID-19 pandemic. The data detailed the industry's third quarter activity, with deliveries in 2020 to September 30 falling by 12.6% in comparison with the same period last year. The decline was even more marked in the narrower business jet segment, which has decreased by 26.7% over 2019's figure. A total of 378 business jets had been shipped by the end of this third quarter, down from 516 in 2019.
