BOEING RESUMED 737 MAX production in late May. The manufacturer reduced MAX output at its Renton facility in Washington state in 2019 as it worked on fixes for flight control system flaws related to the 2018 and 2019 losses of Lion Air and Ethiopian Airlines aircraft, accidents that killed 346 people and grounded the airliner. Production was fully paused in January 2020 as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) continued to review the changes to approve the jet to fly again.
