Marineflieger's first NH90 Sea Lion

Airbus Helicopters announced on October 24, 2019, that it has delivered the first NHI NH90 Sea Lion naval multi-role helicopter to the German Bundesamt fur Ausrustung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr (Equipment, information Technology and Information Support). A further two helicopters will be delivered before the end of 2019. The German Marineflieger selected the NH90 Sea Lion to replace its Westland Sea King Mk41 helicopters in March 2013 and the acquisition contract was signed in June 2015.
