JAGUAR WEAPONS

IAF Jaguars are capable of carrying a wide range of conventional weapons, including slick and retarded 1,0001b (454kg) bombs, Matra 5511b (250kg) and 8821b (400kg) bombs, Matra Durandal anti-runway bombs and Matra F7 and 155 rocket launchers. In addition to these conventional weapons, laser-guided bombs provide the Jaguar with a precision strike capability, with guidance kits supplied by Paveway and Griffin. The Jaguar is also believed to have a nuclear strike capability, but understandably the IAF refused to comment on this sensitive topic.
