Afriqiyah Airways of Libya took delivery of its first Airbus A330-202 (5A-ONF c 999, ex F-WWYV) on August 11. The airliner has been configured with a two-class cabin layout to carry 230 passengers. It will be used on routes from Tripoli to Africa and Europe. The airline ordered three A330-200s in July 2006. Its current fleet comprises two Airbus A319s and five A320s, while ten additional A320 family aircraft are due to be delivered, along with six A350-800s, ordered in July 2007.
