E-10A AIRFRAME SOLD TO BAHRAIN - ThernBoeing 767-4SFER built as part of the US Air Force's abortive E-10A Multi-Mission Command and Control Aircraft (MC2A) programme has been acquired by the Government of Bahrain for fitting out as a VIP aircraft for the Bahrain Amiri Flight. A9C-HMH (c 34205, ex N526BA) had been stored at Paine Field, Everett, Washington in an airworthy condition since the E-10A was cancelled in 2008. It will replace a Boeing 747-SP21 with the same registration that was sold in May 2008.rnBRAZILIAN FEDERAL POLICE TO RECEIVE SECOND ERJ-145 - The ECC Leasing Company sold an Embraer ERJ-145 to the Departamento de Polkia Federal (Brazil's Federal Police Department) in February, the organisation's second example of the regional jet. The first, ERJ-145ER PR-DPF (c 145127), was delivered in July 2006 and the second will arrive during the first half of 2009. ECC has managed and remarketed Embraer's pre-owned aircraft since it was formed at Dublin, Ireland, in September 2002.
