The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) showcased progress with the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E) programme at Edwards AFB, California on August 27, 2010. The occasion marked the completion of the 60th flight test mission since two CTOL (Conventional Take-off and Landing) Lockheed Martin F-35ArnLightning Us (AF-01 and AF-02) arrived at Edwards AFB on May 17,2010.rnAlthough the JSF programme has been the subject of negative press because of cost escalations and overall programme delays, it appears that the current DT&E programme at Edwards AFB is progressing at a remarkable pace.
