Additional Global Hawks Ordered

Northrop Grumman was awarded a $302.9 million (￡182 million) contract for five RQ-4B Global Hawk high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned air vehicles for the US Air Force on November 23. The Lot 7 production will include two Block 30 and three Block 40 airframes, a ground station consisting of a launch and recovery element and a mission control element, plus two additional Enhanced Integrated Sensor Suites (EISS) to be retrofitted into earlier examples.
