THE US Air Force has a new project called Agility Prime to explore how emerging electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) technologies may be used for military applications, An Innovative Capabilities Opening (ICO) published on the US federal government website says that the "Agility Prime office is pursuing prototype projects from non-traditional and traditional defence contractors [to establish a] collaborative strategy" with industry and investors.
