Fresh Looks at The Totalforce

Air Force leaders from all three components are busy working behind the scenes to map out a new approach to the Total Force. It's a daunting challenge, they said at the Air Force Association's Air & Space Conference in September. It comes at a time of an uncertain budget environment, the likelihood of continued budget sequestration, the end of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the need to recapitalize or modernize an aging, war-worn fleet.
