Embraco, a manufacturer of refrigeration compressors, launched its highest-efficiency mini compressor, the EMD, in China. With the coefficient of performance (COP) reaching 2.10 W/W, the EMD product is tailored for household applications in China but will be promoted to other markets in the world as well.rnIn order to meet the increasing demand for variable-speed refrigerator compressors in the Chinese market, Embraco also intends to enhance the production capacityrnof the Embraco VCC compressor. In 2010, its production capacity of this compressor will reach 800,000 units.
