After a great breakfast and a rousing call to promote agricultural aviation, what Acould be better than listening to updates on the latest agricultural aviation research and technology? As it has been in the past, the Aerial Application Technology Research Session was held immediately following the Kickoff Breakfast at the 2018 Ag Aviation Expo, in Reno, Nev. This session was formerly called the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) Technical Session but was changed several years ago in an effort to better direct the content of the presentation to the intended audience: members of the aerial application industry. The session had a great deal of information to pass on to participants, with plenty of graphs, tables and numbers. Luckily the breakfast had plenty of coffee to keep everyone alert and ready to learn. Below are summaries of the presentations.
