Taqa Stands Accused

Did an affiliate of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, the Taqa group, try to sell stakes in its Jorf Lasfar power station to prominent Moroccans? The former chief executive of Taqa suggested as much in a suit filed before the US district court for the eastern district of Michigan on Aug. 27. Stripped of his post, Peter Barker-Homek filed suit for breach of contract and is demanding USD 130 million in damages and interest.
