The Westminster Group subsidiary, Westminster Aviation Security Services (WASS), which specialises in airport perimeter security and passenger screening, is at an advanced stage of talks with the Central African government. A delegation headed by the UK firm's CEO Peter Fowler is expected in Bangui from 12 to 17 November and is due to be received by President Faustin Archange-Touadéra on 16 November. Discussions are likely to centre on providing security "at no cost to the authority awarding the concession" at the capital's international airport.
