Despite an internal security situation which continues tobe critical, Burkina Faso is pursuing its ambitiousYeleen project, which aims to increase the share of solarpower in the country's energy supply mix. The project hasfinancial backing totalling about $160m from the AfricanDevelopment Bank and the Agence Française deDéveloppement.
