Brussels and Ankara tussle over Libyan coastguard

European defence ministers meeting in Brussels on 6 April refused to leave the issue of training Libya's coastguard in the hands of Turkey. They intend to send Fabio Agostini, the commander of European Union Naval Force Mediterranean Operation IRINI, to Tripoli in the next few days to negotiate this issue with Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dabaiba.
