Former pro-Islamist El Watan TV boss, Abdessamed El Haouari sees himself as spokesman for UK's Algerians

Abdessamed El Haouari, the founder of pro- Islamist television channel El Watan TV, has been busy bringing together various members of the UK's Muslim community to open his new think tank, Forum of Algerians in Britain, in London on 12 June. Those involved include, Abdelhadi Feltane, the former head of administration and logistics for the Saudi-funded aid agency Islamic Relief, also advised by Tunisian sheik Rached Ghannouchi's son Moadh Kheriji. The London-based Algerian Lakdar Kolli and Soufiane Derradji, director of the Islam charity Feltham Hira Association from 2012 to 2013, are also both installed in the forum's offices.
