OUR PRESIDENT

I was privileged recently to visit our Weybridge Branch, which is clearly in very good heart under the Presidency of Stewart John FRAeS and Chairmanship of Chris Orlebar FRAeS. The speaker that evening was Alain Garcia HonFRAeS who delivered a brilliant lecture 'Comme volerons-nous en 2050' (How will we be flying in 2050) enlightening the audience with a highly-researched view of demographic trends, economic factors, oil price predictions, technical developments and potential crises. Whichever way the model is cut, our industry is set to continue on a massive growth path and it was a timely foretaste of our plan to make the 150th anniversary year, one of looking forward to innovation over the coming decades.
