Launching last month at the FIDAE aerospace and defence exhibition in Chile, Airbus Defence's A400M photography contest returns for a second year, giving aviation enthusiasts and professionals around the world a chance to win exclusive 'money can't buy' prizes.Last year saw a highly successful contest, with almost 1,000 entries from all around the world, making the judges' decision in selecting the final winners extremely difficult, such was the high standard of photos submitted. The 201 7 winners were Marina Muhoz Fernandez (Military Photographer category), Alvin Russell (General Public category) and James Roberts (Young Photographer category and Overall Winner). This year the competition is being held to support one of the A400M's biggest operators, the Royal Air Force, as it celebrates its 100th anniversary.
