Flying the bizarre Blohm und Voss Bv 141

On my inspection of the Bv 141 I was fascinated to find just how unorthodox it really was. Entry into the crew nacelle was by a walkway on the upper surface of the wing, between the engine and the nacelle, and through a hatch in the roof. The view from fore and aft of the nacelle was superb except for the lateral sector to port, which was blocked by the engine and fuselage combination. I had a feeling of having been in such a cockpit before, and indeed the crew nacelle of the Bv 141B must have been nearly identical to that of its successful competitor, the Focke-Wulf Fw 189.
