An interesting social history about the author's father, from childhood hardships through RAF service, the Empire Air Training Scheme, the Berlin Airlift, BEA, coffee smuggling, etc. A candidate and nominated for several 2010 awards, this is a good read, and Mr Duncan (we could not find his Christian name anywhere) claimed to be the author of the poem High Flight. Well worth the bargain price.
