The main problem this month concerns the picture of the two men posing with a de Havilland D.H.60M Moth, taken by a photographer of Nairobi, Keyna. The aircraft's registration is just discernible as G-ABCZ (de Havilland c 1555), which was registered on July 18,1930, and is recorded as becoming VP-KAO in Kenya in August 1931. The aircraft evidently arrived in Kenya somewhat earlier, as the caption beneath the original mounted print reads, "First amateur flight from Nairobi to Mombasa and back in a day - 550 miles. April 3rd 1931".
