nhe prototype of the de Havilland D.H.90 Dragonfly, G-ADNA, flew in September 1935 and could be considered the first British executive aircraft, a five-seater with two 130 h.p. D.H. Gipsy Major engines. It marked a constructional change from its predecessor, the D.H.89 Dragon Rapide, in having a monocoque shell fuselage of pre-formed ply with spruce stringers, while a change in bracing wires and struts made for easier access to the cabin which featured a two-seat cockpit (one pilot and a passenger, another behind and a double seat at the rear).
