TYPE: Four-engined airliner of light alloy monocoque construction with a cantilever low wing and twin fins and rudders. Retractable tailwheel undercarriage. ACCOMMODATION: Four crew, one steward and seating for 33 passengers. Some Air France aircraft fitted with 24 seats, others later converted to carry 44 passengers. ENGINES: Four 1,150 h.p. Gnome-Rhone 14N powerplants driving three-bladed Ratier variable-pitch propellers or four 1,220 h.p. Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasps driving both three- and four-bladed propellers. Fuel in four wing tanks totalling 1,592 gallons, plus one reserve tank in fuselage for 264 gallons.
