New CAF HQ plans revealed

In late April the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) released an artist's impression of its new National Airbase buildings at Dallas Executive Airport into which the organisation will move from its current home at Midland, Texas. They have been designed by a team from HKS Architects Inc, which has extensive experience in aviation, education and public performance venues, including the Dallas Museum of Art and Terminal D at the city's international airport. Construction is due to begin in 2018-19, with an opening date some time during 2020-21.
