TESTBED TRIO

摘要

Three specially modified test aircraft supported the 152 programme. The first was -14 DM-ZZB, the initial example built by the VEB plant in Dresden. A scale model of the 152's horizontal stabiliser was mounted on top of its fuselage for aerodynamic trials in flight. The Ⅱ-14 flew for the first time in this configuration during 1958. Airflow measuring strips stuck onto the assembly were monitored from the open side door.
