Following cancellation of Duxford's Battle of Britain show, it fell to Headcorn-based flight experience outfit Aero Legends to stage the only airshow commemorating the 80th anniversary of the epochal air battle that is now rapidly passing from living memory. The event was held over three days to aid with social distancing, 1,000 pre-booked tickets being available on the Friday, and 4,000 each on the following days. The government's 'Rule of 6' requirement saw Headcorn adopt a grid system of white-painted boxes, each to accommodate no more than six visitors.
