Dsm Sells Solutech To Lydall

DSM has reached a definitive agreement to sell its Solutech business to Lydall Inc. Financial details of the transaction will not be disclosed. Royal DSM NV is a company with global interests in materials and life sciences, with its headquarters in The Netherlands. Based in the USA, Lydall is a manufacturer of speciality engineered products. Lydall has been the development partner for Solutech since 2007 and, as part of the agreement, DSM says it will continue to cooperate with Lydall. Established in 1993, DSM Solutech is the manufacturer of speciality microporous membranes for air and liquid filtration-sold under the name Solupor~R. These membranes are used in for a range of applications, including textiles,filtration and separation, supercapacitors, lithium-ion batteries and polymer fuel cells.
