A German company is imaging in real time the evolution of temperature and humidity between a human body and an object, specifically a duvet, including layers that cannot be detected by an infrared or optical camera. Otterfing-based c.russ-NetConsult has used THG AreaView measuring systems to determine the effects of adding phase-change materials (PCMs) to the bedding, in particular those supplied by Outlast Europe of Heidenheim, Germany.
