Sewing threads and zips kill bed bugs

Sewing threads and zips can now be treated with an agent that is fatal to bed bugs, but harmless to humans and pets, according to the chemical's UK-based developer. Coats pic of Uxbridge says its Insectiban treatment is based on naturally occurring, durable plant extracts and oils. Users can apply the treatment to any size or colour of thread without affecting the sewing performance. Further, Insectiban can be used in all European and Asian territories,and will be introduced to the US market during 2013. It does not require regulatory approval, because it is based on natural extracts, a company spokesperson confirmed.
